About Peninsula Feed & Power Equipment

The year 2018 saw a new beginning for Pen Feed with the change of ownership to longtime Penfeed employees Doug DeFord and Brian DeFord. Dougs 40 years of small engines mechanic, sales, and management experience bring alot to the table while Brians expertise in mechanics keeps the shop running smoothly.

In 1974, John Endsley became the second owner / operator of Peninsula Feed which has been locally operated since 1919. This makes Peninsula Feed and Power Equipment one of the longest standing continuous running businesses in Kitsap County.

Originally, Peninsula Feed catered to small farming operations that were prevelent in the surrounding area by offering animal feed and farm supplies. Over the years, the needs of the local population changed substantially. As a result, in 2002, Peninsula Feed switched their focus to power equipment. Keeping with the traditions and strong reputations of the past, the name was changed to Peninsula Feed and Power Equipment. The feed might not be there, but honoring the hard work and determination of the those before was too important to overlook.

For years, John and his team have been working to provide the best possible customer experience in the community that they love. If you're new to the area, swing by "Pen Feed" and say hi. You'll quickly come to realize why so many long time customers will accept no other.
